Local favorites, all dog-friendly, all worth the drive.

Rohmer Park Perimeter Trail

EasyUnder 1 mile (loop)

A flat walking trail that circles the perimeter of Rohmer Park, Washington Terrace's largest city park. Shaded by mature trees with open grass areas. A solid option for a quick midday walk without leaving the neighborhood.

Leash required, Washington Terrace parks require dogs on leash at all times

Tip. The park also has restrooms, a covered pavilion, and horseshoe pits. Avoid weekend afternoons when youth baseball is in session on the adjacent fields.

Waterfall Canyon Trail

Moderate2.5 miles out-and-back

A popular canyon trail that climbs from the mouth of Ogden Canyon up to a 200-foot waterfall in the Wasatch. Rocky and steep in sections, about 5 miles from Washington Terrace via Harrison Blvd.

Dogs allowed; leash required for the entire trail

Tip. Very busy on summer weekends, go early on weekday mornings. Bring plenty of water; the stream at the base is the only reliable water source.

Weber Pathways Rail Trail

EasyUp to 16 miles out-and-back

A converted rail trail running through wetlands and open land north of Ogden. Flat and straight, ideal for dogs who need a long walk without steep terrain. Parking at the County Line Trailhead off 4000 N and 2000 W.

Leash required throughout

Tip. Long uninterrupted stretches make this great for nervous dogs still building leash manners. No shade on most of the route, avoid midday in summer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about pet care in Washington Terrace.

Do you serve Rohmer Park and the surrounding Washington Terrace neighborhoods?

Yes, Washington Terrace is well within our 10-mile service area from Ogden. We regularly serve clients near Rohmer Park, along Washington Blvd, and throughout the 84405 zip code.

Are there good spots to walk dogs in Washington Terrace?

Washington Terrace is a solid neighborhood for everyday walks, it's flat, has sidewalks throughout, and Rohmer Park has a perimeter trail with mature shade trees. For days when your dog needs more distance, Waterfall Canyon and the Weber Pathways Rail Trail are both an easy drive away.

Washington Terrace limits households to two dogs, does that affect your service?

Not directly. Our per-visit rates are the same regardless of city, and we work with multi-dog households all the time. We'll note your dogs in your client profile in Time to Pet and schedule accordingly. See our pricing page for current rates.

Do you charge extra based on the city I live in?

No. Our pricing is the same across every city we serve. See current pricing or ask during your free meet and greet.

Who covers visits when my regular sitter is out?

We're a team, not a single sitter. Your care team is consistent and trained, and any backup sitter already knows your pet's care plan through Time to Pet before they arrive. You'll always know who's coming and see a photo report after every visit.

Are your sitters all local to the Ogden area?

Yes. Every team member is a W-2 employee who lives in and around Ogden. We're not a national franchise or a gig app — we're a local team serving the same neighborhoods we live in.
